Basically, go to “Posts” on the LeDuc Law/Hostgator dashboard, and look for the pushpin labeled “Posts,” just under “Analytics” on the left-hand side menu. Then select “Add a New Post.” The screen on the right will display a space for the post title, which will also create a Permalink with the title in the link name. (You were able to change the Permalink to “july-first-post” from “july-1st-post” using the “Edit” button next to the Permalink, but this doesn’t appear to work after the page is published, which is why William suggested you delete the posts he had created.)
Then, scroll down and type-in the post text. If you want a “teaser,” a good way to create one is to scroll down to the “Excerpt” box near the bottom of the page and type something in. That should appear in the blog post underneath the title, with “read more” following it. Click that to read the full text.
Then hit the blue “Publish” button on the right-side menu bar (about 2/3rds of the way down) or “Preview,” two inches above that.
